When Work Becomes Fun

I knew that I had cornered myself into a deadline with 50KDLX.Com. Even the URL became an interesting journey. My first attempt was TheKDLX/KXCVReunion.Com.

I have purchased a lot of domains over the years and learned the shorter the better, so was I pleased to find this domain.

This has been an interesting project. I've talked to many of you; looked up all the info I could find; flipped through year books; pulled some pics out of old clips, booklets, and wherever I could find that unique thing that was about you.

I wish I had the time to go "all in" and do something for everyone that passed through the door. Bev asked me if I remembered "Curly" the janitor that parked his broom outside the radio station door and would spend time with us late in the evening.

But, I'll not wax nostalgic here. This whole thing was never for me, I want to assure you. Rather it was about special people I knew, spent a lot of time with, and today still maintain close relationships.

So, it's all about having fun. Work to be sure.
